Sam Bailey has released a preview of her new album The Power of Love.
Listen to a ten-minute sampler of the collection, which is released on March 24, below:
The record includes covers of Jennifer Rush’s ‘The Power of Love’, Faith Hill’s ‘There You’ll Be’ and her latest single ‘Compass’.
The Power of Love also features collaborations with Michael Bolton on ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ and Nicole Scherzinger on the Dreamgirls song ‘And I’m Telling You’.
“The whole experience was a really chilled affair as we worked on it with people from the show,” Bailey recently told Digital Spy of recording the album. “The album itself is a mixture of everything. There are new songs and covers, but I think they’ll be covers that people won’t have heard in a long time.”
Bailey recently supported a Beyoncé gig in Birmingham, where she wowed the crowd with her rendition of ‘And I’m Telling You’.
