It was only after watching George Sampson win Britain’s Got Talent in 2008, that young Aidan Davis decided to take up dancing. Practising alone in his bedroom, he secretly decided to enter Britain’s Got Talent without telling his parents. Aidan was a very fast learner!
During his first audition, where he danced to the tune of ‘Low’ by Flo Rida, Aidan’s fancy footwork, together with his self-taught choreography skills wowed the judges and he received a standing ovation from the watching audience. All the hard work paid off and Aidan received four yes votes from the panel, and Simon Cowell described him as “super, super, super talented”. Aidan won his semi-final convincingly with a jaw dropping new routine. He sailed into the final where he eventually finished 5th. Not bad for a kid who had only been dancing a year!
Since the show he’s wowed audiences of over 10,000 people a night on the Britain’s Got Talent Tour, and quickly made the transition to become an international performer more than capable of standing (and spinning!) on his own two feet. He has performed all over the UK, and recently became the face of a massive new advertising campaign for Cheeto’s crisps in Turkey. Aidan recently attended The Mobo Awards and met some of his heroes including Chipmunk, N-Dubz and Jermaine Jackson, but he is just as happy at home catching up on his schoolwork or busting some moves in his living room!
