Lucie Bethen Jones, born in the spring of 1991, stepped bold as new born lamb onto the X Factor stage. Clearly nervous but boasting a smile from cheek to cheek, Lucie was about to attempt the vocally challenging ‘I Will Always Love You’ by Whitney Houston. A passionate and accomplished performance led to the entire audience rising from their seats in applause and the judges now wearing smiles to match hers. Lucie did good.
Not content with resting on her laurels, Lucie is now a well loved singer and recently signed a modelling contract with Select where she was said to be “a natural”. Lucie has certainly come a long way since nervously gracing our screens back in 2009.
