Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity and finalists Stavros Flatley will be switching on the Christmas lights at Merry Hill next month.
The popular reality TV stars will be lighting up the mall on Friday November 13, Merry Hill owners Westfield have confirmed.
The fun will kick off at 4pm with entertainment and giveaways, followed by performances from dancing phenomenon Diversity and father and son duo Stavros Flatley at 6pm.
Emma Hindes, Merry Hill centre manager, said: “Last year’s event was a huge success and we’re sure the stars of this year’s switch-on event will be popular with people in the Black Country.
“Diversity were an inspiration when they won the show and anyone who saw Stavros Flatley will remember their hilarious routine. We can’t think of a better way to start the Christmas season and get in the festive mood.”
Merry Hill has also confirmed its festive opening hours will kick off on November 9, which will see the shopping centre open until 10pm on weekdays, 8pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm Sundays.
And, as in previous years, from December 14 to 23 – shops will be open until midnight.
