Whether you are into football or not – who did 2012 premiership champions Manchester City chose to DJ at their winners party – Steve Sutherland – why because he gets the job done!

Widely recognised as a key ambassador of urban music, Steve’s long-standing association with TwiceasNice and Galaxy Radio have allowed him to showcase his talents.

So for 2012 TwiceasNice have enlisted the help of Steve to provide the soundtrack for the summer to compile and mix ‘The Mixtape’ enlisting his mates from the industry RIHANNA, DRAKE, BEYONCE, P DIDDY, MARK RONSON, and KANYE WEST. The soundtrack feature’s amongst others WRETCH 32, ARTFUL DODGER and more tracks from AZELIA BANKS, SEAN PAUL, LABYRINTH, JAY Z, RITA ORA, TINIE TEMPAH, MASTERS AT WORK delving into R&B, House, Dubstep, Hip Hop and of course UK Garage Classics.

In the last decade he has received the Best Club and Radio DJ MOBO award on four occasions–an unprecedented achievement. As well as being one of the most successful DJs in the history of the MOBO’s, Steve has also won a host of other awards and nominations such as Best Urban DJ at the Pacha DJ Awards in Ibiza.

Heavily involved with the Twice As Nice CD compilation series via Warner & Universal Music, Steve first became recognised on the urban club scene for his DJ residencies at Twice As Nice. He has also been consistently in high demand, his versatility and talent has taken him around the world performing shows for the likes of the exclusive winners party for Premiership Champions Man City, MTV, Nokia Casio G-Shock and the 2010 World Cup. Since 2005,Steve joined Roger Sanchez & Erick Morillo as a weekly guest at Pacha (Ibiza). He also regularly performs across Europe bringing his sound to destinations such as Africa, Dubai, the Far East and Scandinavia.

In addition to his club work, Steve is also an award winning radio DJ. Initially working with the BBC and subsequently London’s Choice FM, Steve presented two weekly shows that formed the backbone of Galaxy FM’s weekend schedule. Guests included Jay Z, Kanye West, Beyonce, Usher, LL Cool J,Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Busta Rhymes,Sean Paul, Pharrel Williams, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson and Chris Rock.

Steve also featured as a judge on the C4 show Chancers and a regular on MTV’s Hugo Urban Rules – two TV programmes that are dedicated to exposing the best up-and-coming talent.
