19 year old Chelcee Grimes is the UK’s brightest emerging talent. Liverpool born Chelcee has been writing songs since she was 11 years old and combined her songwriting and musical development with being one of the best young goal strikers at Liverpool FC where she played for their ladies team up to the age of 17 becoming their leading goalscorer…faced with a crossroads for her dedication there could be only 1 winner – music. In November 2009 Chelcee won Juice FM’s Search for a Star and since then has developed at a fast pace.
Consistently writing brilliant urban pop songs packed with hooks and lyrical twists she has developed a team of hit producers (including Lady Gaga’s Rob Fusari, Rhianna’s Chew Fu and Atomic Kitten’s Ciaron Bell) and signed to G&O Entertainment at the end of 2010 a label run by Hugh Goldsmith and Martin O’Shea, between them they’ve sold more than 30 million albums with acts like Take That, Natalie Imbruglia, Billie Piper, Atomic Kitten, Blue and Newton Faulkner. Voted by the public as best up and coming act (ahead of Rebecca Ferguson) at the 2011 Juice FM Style Awards Chelcee is growing her fanbase at an incredible rate.
