Jamie Archer is quite simply nicknamed ‘Afro’ after his impressive head of hair!
Jamie has always had a strong passion for music and never far away from that big break however being a ‘rocker’, it came from the most unusual of places. He shot to fame following 2009′s X Factor.
The Londoner impressed all four judges and the 2,000 strong crowd with his energetic rendition of the Kings of Leon’s ‘Sex on Fire’ in the first round of auditions and he was soon becoming a firm favourite with all people charting his progress on TV.
The audition has subsequently achieved nearly 15 million hits on YouTube.
Since progressing through The X Factor, Jamie has gained a strong fanbase (who call themselves the Afrodites) and has taken his energetic set up and down the country.
Jamie continues to be the life and soul of many parties and events up and down the country and certainly delivers what people expect when they book him.
