After ten fulfilling years playing Max & OB in Channel 4′s flagship soap Hollyoaks, winning a British Soap Award for ‘Best Onscreen Partnership’ and an NTA Award, in 2008 Matt Littler & Darren Jeffries said goodbye to the show to develop their TV and media careers…
The pair are now firmly established as two of the nation’s favourite TV presenters.
Last year the boys launched a new handset for Sony Ericsson and The Carphone Warehouse, filmed a promotional video for The Outward Bounds Trust, shoot a second series of ‘The Versus Chart’, work with Bauer on a launch for boyband The Wanted, were the faces of 4Music’s ‘Blog Star’ campaign and became one of a number of hosts for Channel 4′s Freshly Squeezed.
2011 has been equally impressive, with a hosting slot on the Hollyoaks Music Show already in the bag. The Channel Four series saw Matt & Darren introduce the likes of The Wombats and Peter Andre to the stage.
They recently filmed for The Gadget Show, while the duo have also joined together to create a website surrounding their passion; Project Bunker.
Always on the move, Matt recently cycled to Paris in aid of Diabetes UK, while the pair will present an award at the Urban Music Awards later this year.
The pair offer two types of entertainment: hosting your event, or 90 minutes of Djing. Whatever your needs, Matt & Darren are the answer.
